Well........everybody in the North country has been watching the sneaux fall all winter and now that it is beginning to show signs of melting, out come the boats, nets and plastic buckets.

I'd like to ask a favor of you all in that you keep me posted on any catches of YOY Pallid Sturgeons.
  • Location
  • depth of water
  • temperature (if possible) of water
  • size of the critter

Thank you in advance.

Mmm, maybe not location on the forum, but rather a PM?

I stand corrected. Pallids are super protected and who knows who reads what here. A PM will be just fine.

If someone does encounter a Pallid, I'd like just a "general" location within a county or on what river.................no GPS co-ords or cross sections of roads or bridges....... just very general.

I have no desire to send a tech team to snatch up the critters. This is for a personal survey I am doing as some techs are telling me that specific gear is not working on pallids ............come to find out, there has NEVER been a Pallid caught there since Peter and Paul hauled in a load of Comb fish with the Big Guy!
