In the mainstem, I would tend to say no. Every temp I recorded the past two weeks has been above 26 C. We've been getting common, roseyface, comely, spottail, spotfin, and satinfin shiner, blutnose minnow, and fallfish pretty regularly. Dave, any input on roseysides in the mainstem near Hancock?

thank you matt.
I went up into the riffles near Back Creek, the water was very fast and I caught a few nice size Creek Chub while bass fishing. I think that the chub and the dace like the same water, so I will have to say that the dace are not where I stay in the slackwater, but are up there about 1 or 2 miles up river.
btw, do you know a srgt. Poole, he is patrol for MD DNR?

You know you can download a PDF version of a Maryland fish key that is only 30-40 pages front and back for free??? :-) I have a copy saved on my computer in case I don't have one of my many print copies handy.
