Hi,

I'm new to fish keeping, NANFA and the forum. Our Hell's Kitchen co-op of 20 apartments has a tiny garden which is looked after by my girlfriend and I. Last year we planted an existing barren pond and it was so successful that this year we decided to add two half barrel 'ponds'. We wanted to keep some native fish in the three small ponds, so now we have a variety of fathead minnows, American flag fish, golden topminnows, redface topminnows, bluefin killies, tadpoles, eastern salamanders, and an ever-growing number of least killifish. We also have two planted indoor tanks, one with a pair of American flag fish and one with a pair of bluefin killies.

Best,
Helen

I'm impressed, I would never have looked for such a native fauna collection in Hell's Kitchen. Welcome to the forum.
