after our first collecting trip , detour from vacation we spent all day (which was only supposed to be 2 hours) in the Destin / FWB area. We dipnetted:

P.latipinna (super nice sailfin mollies
E.zonatum (banded pygmy sunfish)
H.formosa (least killies)
F.cingulatus (Banded Top minnows , 1 male and 4 females and a juv)
A.sayanus (pirate perch)
LM bass
tons of Dambusia
saw tons of emerald green fiddler crabs, very young blue crabs and one fat lazy cottonmouth
We have a couple others that we have'nt fiqured out what they are yet
we were hoping for some Bluenose shinners (P.welaka) but struck out, maybe next time.

sounds like the panhandle standards.
:)
beware of fat lazy cottonmouths, they can spring into action quicker than you can respond!
