this little fish started it all.
one day as i was getting my bait from the local creek
to fish with we ran the net up a small riffle instead of bellow it in the calm pool
our net was full of small minnows we never caught before and two kinds of shiners
we hardly ever seen real thin and fast looking fish clear like glass with a silver line in te spine.
as the night went on fishing as the norm
bait was used live or dead ITS JUST BAIT RIGHT
well this little fish lived to the next day
it had so much color and moved very fast so it never made in the dip net for bait
well as the night/day wore on this fish made it back home and then ended back in its own home creek.
well that was two years ago that creek has had allot of trouble with low water due to a new housing project
up stream.plus they cleaned the brick with meradic acid ?sp and the kill off in the creek lasted for weeks evan the carp and sukers red and white ones died plus last years drought was real bad.
we have had very little luck finding this fish ever since there was three of the same kind but of many colors
i would like to find more of them. these little fish are cool in my book.i was able to find a web pic of the fish
thats real close but the picture do not show color like a live fish in the sun light trust me these fish have vivid color
techno color and the shiner is totally see through dad said its a glass minnow(slang term im sure).
