I know this is a little late, but...

...turns out I will be able to attend, after all, and I am hoping someone is looking for another body to fill a spot in and share costs for one of the rooms there.

Gender of the rest of my roomies is not important to me so long as it is not important to the rest of my roomies, but I understand it may be important to others so guess I better state here that I am female.

Also, if anyone is interested in carpooling from Dallas, let me know that as well. I can drive my vehicle (f/s truck-auto or compact s/w-std) or share the trip cost/driving of someone else's. We live in Dallas, so I could pick up at one of the airports prior to heading for Athens if needed.
