Hey all,
Hofstra University will be looking for a new animal caretaker in the
coming weeks. This is a full time position that includes some pretty
excellent benefits (health, dental, and vision insurance AND tuition
remission!). This job requires independence as well as the ability to
lead federal work study students in their job duties. The facility is
constantly changing, but we house a variety of freshwater fishes, a few
species of turtles, lobsters, crayfish, frogs, and lizards. Experience
with aquatic animal husbandry is strongly desired!
Those interested should send an email with your resume attached to Dennis
Burke (biodmb@hofstra.edu). If you have any further inquiries about the
position, you can email Dennis as well. This job has not been posted on
the Hofstra website yet, so please communicate with Dennis directly.
