I would like to wish a formal congratulations to NANFA member Bob Bock on his article titled, "Sunfish & Cories: A Great Combo", in the December 2008 issue of Aqaurium Fish International magazine. The article, which stretches across 8 pages, has alot of info and pictures of both Cory cats and North American native sunfish and pygmy sunfish. The magazine's centerfold even has a picture of the Banded Pygmy Sunfish (Elassoma zonatum)! Again, congrats Bob!
Congrats NANFA member Bob Bock

Congratulations, Bob! I just got my magazine and haven't read the article yet. When I saw the article's title on the cover, I thought, "Cool! I have a tank like that!" One of my tanks has bluespotted sunfish, blackstripe topminnows, bluefin killies, and corydoras paleatus.

Sweet, I don't normally read AFI but I'll have to snatch that issue up.

I did read that a couple days ago. I didn't even think to look at the author.
Congrats Bob, and great article. I got a kick out of it

Hey, thanks all! That one had been in the works for quite awhile. Four years in fact. Right now I'm down to the black bandeds, lazer green aneus, and sterbai. I've got 3 F2s of the blackbandeds, 5 F3s, and am due for a spawn. I found the elassoma a new home when I started to get behind on their upkeep.
