There is an immediate opening for an full-time Aquatic Biologist at the Steinhart Aquarium, working primarily (but not exclusively) with freshwater fishes.
The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with the husbandry of tropical freshwater fishes (including breeding and rearing cichlids, killifish and/or other major groups of fishes), aquatic plants, aquascaping and exhibit design, larval and/or live food culture, as well as a working knowledge of the life support systems and the techniques used to maintain these organisms.
