I was informed by the fish grapevine in Detroit that
Allodontichthys polylepis, the Finescale Splitfin may be declared extinct in the wild.

Does anyone know of any captive breeding colonies?
(The livebearer species conservation people are looking for information.)

I know of one person in Europe that maintained them for years, however they are extremely difficult to ship(not to mention breed). Not sure if he still does. However, I don't know anyone in the U.S. that currently keeps them. A. hubbsi, and zonistius are easy to find.
