I belong to a deer lease in highland county this past weekend after deer hunting i walked the main creek out about a mile or so
this creek starts in a valley much like most i guess i just comes up out of the land in a swamp area about the size of a house
anyhow I saw beaver and other quadrupeds but no fish at all in the creek or crustaceans this creek leads to a man made lake
maybe 1.5 miles away it was made back in the 70's is this normal to find no fish in area like this?(above the lake).
below the dam of the lake there is sunfish minnows and the like.

I bet you'd find some fish in the creek if you sampled it with a fully-manned seine.

Maybe but to walk that far and not see any fish that was a first for me.
maybe this spring i will run a seine up this section to see.
as for now the deer have my other tools in use and time.
