Anyone know of any decent books with information pertaining to largemouth bass in a home aquarium?
I've done some looking around but it seems their is very limited information. In fact, this site is the best source thus far. 8)
I have a lmb at approx. 4 inches in length(this is my 3rd) but would love to find a book on the subject.
I don't have any sunfish at the moment but "might" consider getting one a little further down the road.

Thank you
Kevin

Your LMB is actually a sunfish, so you already have one.

The only aquarium book I have is "American Aquarium Fishes" by Goldstein. He has a couple of paragraphs pertaining to black basses but nothing that would be useful when it comes to keeping them in aquaria.

In general, LMB grow too large to be kept in your standard aquarium. I would venture to say that most aquarist don't have anything larger than a 55g. So this is the reason why you won't really find any information on them.

Ask your questions. Many here have experience with largemouth bass in aquariums. I have pretty much everything but spawn then in aquariums but have done so with their relative the spotted bass in tanks.
