Great looking board here.

I've been a fish geek since I was a kid.

I've kept many natives over the years i.e. pumkinseed,bluegill,banded sunfish,lmb,smb,yellow perch,chain pickeral,redfin pickeral,crayfish, and various types minnows.

Netted some interesting fish in the river down the street from my house. Some sort of juvy lamprey(released) and a bowfin. According to MA Fisheries it's the first time one has been reported in that river.

I'm not keeping any fish right now due to lack of room for tanks but I look forward posting here :)

It's more fun catching 'em than keeping 'em. Have fun even if you don't have the room.

I have twin 4 year old boys. I have have a great excuse to go down to the river or pond and scoop up some fish. They love it!

Welcome, Tull. Hopefully we can provide some useful information to you about keeping natives in the future, if that's what you plan to do. In any event, enjoy the forum. We have a lot of fun people who are always open to answering any questions you may have!

Brian
