Here's a video of my 55 gallon tank I'm allowed to keep upstairs. Up to a couple weeks ago it housed my softshell turtle, and I couldn't keep any plants rooted. But I wanted to have some fish up in the living room so I could keep a closer eye on them with hopes of some breeding attempts. As you will see I'm not skilled at this photo stuff. I intend to add some more sand and some small darker gravel so the Orangespots darken up more. The plants filling in should help as well. Yes there are a few male Red shiners as well.

Thanks. It's easy to siphon out debris as it doesn't sink in just sits on top plus the one larger orangespot male has been digging pits and the gunk seems to end up in those for the most part.
