Has anyone used, or more specifically modified, a solar powered pump for use in small plastic tubs? I'm hoping to put some killifish and/or pygmy sunfish outside next week, but I have no electricity near where I will be putting the container. I realize the fish will do a good job keeping the mosquitos away, but I wouldn't mind a little aeration and filtration. It will be more of a small aqua garden that happens to have fish who will hopefully breed instead of a breeding tub that happens to have some plants.

never heard of a power head but you could easily rig a 12 volt air pump to a solar pannel, or better yet have a rechargeable battery bank on several solar pannels
