Here are some photos of Tennesse shiners, river chubs and warpaints I thought you might like to see. I need some identification help with the last photo.

I hope you enjoy them,
Bryce

Tennessee Mouse Darter (Percina rodentii) I think.

I'd have to see a better picture of the Dorsal fin though.

Someone else may want to chime in here.

Truf,
Thanks, I was thinking Etheostoma I seem to always get the genera confused.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Hi Bryce...
Great Pics. Gotta love those busy River Chubs. Pretty rock pile, clean substrate. When did you catch these TN Shiners in color? I figured they had reverted to silver status.

What kinda camera you using? This CFI weekend is soon upon us. Wet Willie should dous himself too and we can have 4 cameras clicking.

That last pic is snapping turtle bait.

Stunning shots. You are a privliged observer.

Thanks Casper. Friday July 3rd, they surprised me too.

Nikon D70s, 12-24/f4 Nikon lens in an Ikelite housing no strobes, natural light. Aperature priority f4.5/probably 100 or 125.

I'm looking forward to this weekend.

I am unsure if I am attending the CFI fund-raiser on Saturday. But if ya'll plan on being on the Little River in the early AM on saturday I can most likely join. Starting tomorrow we are doing IBIs on the Little River with TDEC, TVA and TWRA. It's usually quite a show. I'll be in touch about this weekend.

Great pics! I'm going to second the ID of the last "fish" that truf made.
