Looks like parvipinne to me.
That is what I was thinking, but I have never see one so light in color.

It does look very washed out. It could be your substrate or tank decorations. That solid gold line is a give away and I think this is the only one in your area that looks like this.

The funny thing is this is a species that I have been looking for, must have picked it on my last trip to Mississippi last month.
I have some that I go from AL last year. THey are a very hardy aquarium fish and have taken FD and pelleted foods right from the beginning. They take food from the surface as well and often outcompete the shiners that I keep with them.

Nope its not a pearl darter. I never keep them since they are endangered. It's a light colored goldstripe darter.
