Ohio, Cowan lake.
this shiner has a body type just like a gold shiner it is thick, taller then wide
but the top 1/3 is a bright iridescent green, with a silver lateral line.
being caught in a man made lake it may have been used for bait and then let go.
and the fish is all most 6" long.i have no picture sorry.
