I found the most useful site for NH fish info yet. It gets my respect for two reasons. 1. narrowing down info for some species by town. and 2. casting doubt on alot of the unlikely records of redfin pickerel by pointing out they are easilly confused with juvenile chain pickerel.
It is one thing to find a web page saying banded sunfish occur in the connecticut and merrimack drainages in NH with more focus on the Merrimack, it is another to find this page which narrows it down to one town on the connecticut drainage. (which led me to refine my web searches to find it is one pond in one town).
I don't know if anyone other than me collects in NH, but the info on this web site http://www.wildlife...._App_A_Fish.pdf when coupled with other sources provided me with a very very powerful fish locating tool. I have yet to test its accuracy (rain ruined that the other day). But it did let me see that rare info that goes below the drainage level.
