I'm currently using my anole tank's soil to culture earthworms for fish consumption. I might soon get a new worm container but I was wondering what species of worm is the tastiest for fish? I'm currently using the nightcrawlers and I have NO CLUE what species they are. Some are from my yard and some are from a Styrofoam cup I bought at a drug store for fishing.

You can find a lot of variations on this theme if you google "vermicomposting". Apparently the best worms to use are red wigglers, which are different from nightcrawlers. A lot of bait shops will sell both. I've seen a lot of different DIY versions of vermicompost bins that can be kept right under the kitchen sink. Kitchen waste is the worm food used. Doing it this way would probably give you a lot more worms than your anole tank. Some places will sell the worms by the pound, but I have started with a small culture box and a bait shop cup's worth, and increased the population from there. They multiply pretty quickly.
