The Raccoon Creek Watershed Coordinator position coordinates and facilitates the agency and community partnership for Raccoon Creek watershed. The Coordinator plans and facilitates technical and community meetings, conducts and supervises water quality investigations and data management for watershed including creating annual monitoring plans and QA/QC procedures. This position also develops acid mine drainage (AMD) treatment projects, manages water quality improvement project grants, assists with research projects, conducts community outreach programs, grant writing, and works with and supervises students among other things.
Salary starts at $41,200, based on qualifications and experience.
This is a three year grant funded position, with additional years possible depending on available grant funds.
