Some OK pics of My Darters

These are my best picture results so far. The first pic is a male gambusia.
I think gambuia are nipping the darters fins a bit.

Tessellated Darters, Etheostoma olmstedi
I'm not completely sure, thou.

Nice and plump, I like the way they "perch" on rocks. I think that is why they are called perches. :)

I probably tend to over feed them. They have to compete with the gambusia and each other. I worry too much. I caught them in sept. and they doubled their size. I have an adult, too. He was a bully so he's in his own tank. Lives in a cave and comes out to great me. Pretty cool.
