Hello Forum,

my name is Dominik and i come from Germany.
I'm looking if it's possible to breed this catfish in my 150x50x50 Aquarium.
At this time i don't have any catfish already.
So i can change the species to the yellow or brown bullhead, if you know thats no problem with it.

In my Aquarium lives 6 Lepomis gibbosus, too.
I think that will be fine.

Kind regards
Dominik

Welcome Dominik! If you really like bullheads, the smaller species that might be better for aquarium breeding are the spotted (A.serracanthus), flat (A.platycephalus), and snail (A.brunneus). These are usually less than 30 cm, while the black, brown and yellow bullheads can get 50 to 60 cm.
