I just built a 12x12 garden and behind it there is room for a 12x9 pond. But since I will be hand digging it I'm going to make it around 8x6 at 4ft deep max and 2ft deep min.. Heres my question(s). What should I stock? Sunnies? Largemouth Bass? Catfish? What is the cheapest filter setup? I found cheap liners and pumps on ebay so im not worried on those.BTW I live in Georgia so it stays pretty warm.

ive always wondered how to setup a pond and keep everything alive. (till winter) i didnt know what kind of filter and ect. my parents wanted to put one in their back yard
