There is a golden spoted gar for sale on Aqubid right now I wish I could buy. But at $3500.00 its way out of my price range. It looks cool though.

$3500 is actually pretty cheap for one of these "Gold" Florida gars. Last few I saw went for over $5000.

Personally I'm not sure what the attraction is to them, A good regular Lepisosteus platyrhincus looks fine to me. However to each their own.

These guys are really cool. That i a lot of money!! I think I prefer the standard gar colours though, more natural looking.

Except for it is not a Spotted... It is a Platyrhincus. John, the seller of this fish knows this, not sure why he labeled it Oculatus..
