Howdy.....I found NANFA through one of your members, Nate, from another forum website. Personal history....I am a dentist, currently in private practice and retired from the USAF. I have an almost pathological, if you can believe my wife, obsession with taxonomy and protection of native salmonids in North America. Have recently started delving into micropterus study also. Am a lifelong fishing addict and merely do dentistry to support my fishing habit. I love a deep nerdy, intelligent conversation and this seems to be a great place for that.....

I live in your neighborhood! I'm in Eagle River too, small world. I study Alaska blackfish for a student project at UAA.
