Green Sunfish and Largemouth Bass? This is the first time I've been out looking for fish...not 100% sure of my IDs!
Each fish was returned to the water to swim away immediately after its photo was taken.

Both from central Missouri earlier today.
Green Sunfish and Largemouth Bass? This is the first time I've been out looking for fish...not 100% sure of my IDs!

The top one is definetly a Green Sunfish and I am not too positive on the bottom one. It looks like a Largemouth but I am not too good on Bass IDs. I am sure someone that is more experienced will chime in on that ID.

i agree the top one is a green sunfish. your bottom one appears to be a washed out skinny largemouth

I caught two small bass today (each about 7") that didn't look so great. The other was in worse shape than the one pictured above.

I would second (or is it third?) the IDs. Green Sunfish and hungry Largemouth Bass.
