Theres a semi-local fish store that uses White Cloud Mountain Minnows as feeders. 10 for a dollar. Their very tiny ones, too. I've seen much bigger. Anyway, I figure they can eat all the floating food that the darters miss and add some upper tank activity. I thought that would would school, but more of a free for all.

Good idea. Being small it'll be easier to get food to the darters than with shiners, dace and chubs as tankmates. I have to totally STUFF my native minnows before the darters in their tank can get a decent meal. And when the white clouds grow up and spawn their eggs will be good darter food.

The White Clouds are putting on some displays. Two will pair off and swim side by side with their fins raised. Territorial or courtship?
