Hey guys! I was wondering if any pickerel species live in Northwestern Georgia (Chattooga, Walker, and Floyd Counties). I haven't seen any in local ponds and streams, but I would love to know where I could locate one. Thanks!

Check out the Fishes of Georgia website. If you click on the species name and then click on the map, it blows it up pretty large to where you can see which stream systems they are known to be found in. But I will warn you that you still have to find the right micro habitat... I looked around down here (around Athens) for a couple of years before I found the right spot in the stream and caught a couple.

Thanks, Michael! The website isn't wanting to cooperate, though. /:

its on a university server... and I have had problems with it sometimes in the past... in most cases it will be better a short time later the same day or the next day... try it again, it is a good resource... especially the maps.
