I was looking to purchase some Flagfish...but I was wondering if they will be in the outdoor pond fine?
It getting close to 80 degrees F at highest. While around 50 degrees at night.

Well, then they will be fine. Although I know it is against the common knowledge. I have had flag fish survive under the ice in my outdoor stock tanks. I think it is another example of fish finding their best temperature/depth. In this case, since the tanks are sitting on the ground (which here in Georgia does not really freeze), the water at the bottom of the tank is warmer in the winter than the ice on the top.
I would think that you will be fine. I would go ahead and get them now.
