Mottled sculpin?

they are from a spring feed trib off off of the main river.on a side note, i am surprised
how all three are mottled yet totally different,brown and tan bars with shades of orange on tip of the fins from the same pool of water.

I got home today and one is dead. Cottus bairdi that is.last week we found some.i added them to my stream tank all 3 hide in the caves and seldom come out is this normal for mottled sculpins from the Little Miami River in ohio.

I have these species,gender male in my stream tank with the sculpins.
listed smallest to largest.
Etheostoma blenniodes-greenside darter
steel shiner or maybe a spotted shiner ?
Fundulus catenatus-northern studfish may be a pair too young for me to tell
Pimephales promelas-fathead minnow
Notemigonus crysoleucas-golden shiner
Cottus bairdi-mottled sculpin may be a pair too new for me to tell
Lepomis humilis-orangespotted sunfish trio
Noturus flavus-stonecat madtom
Ambloplites rupestris-rock bass
Semotilus atromaculatus-creek chub
Lepomis macrochirus-bluegill sunfish
Lepomis megalotis-longear sunfish
Catostomus commersonii-White Sucker
Lepomis cyanellus-green sunfish
Orconectes rusticus-rusty crayfish no gender id as of yet.

chub and green sunfish,rusty all males are mean.i took the female rusty craw fish out. good food but it was tasking for her in the small tank with the males. she had little if any time alone.
NFS madtom hides for the most part.I plan to open this tank up this spring to a larger area.
if i can get the states red tape in order with our time.
