Here is the good news about Pet Smart. I emailed them and this was their reply.

Price matches will only be honored for the exact same item and model number. Free offers, such as a free item with another purchase, are excluded. We do not price match coupons or promotions, but if you subscribe to our PetSmart.com newsletter, you will receive notice of our coupons and promotions.
