who decides where to have it?

A proud NANFA member decides and any NANFA member can host a convention. Once the member gets the gumption, they write a proposal and submit it to the Board of Directors. In the event more than one site is offered, the Board decides based on the proposals and locale, where the convention will be held.

Well 8 days later and I have paddlefish in my 75 for two days now, my best guess is the H2O2 hadn't dissipated when I put the jumprock in the tank, he must have stirred it up out of the sand. The gambusia were at the surface and weren't as affected. But now everything is doing alright, the sponge filters already established with biological filtration seem to be working and the Emperor 400 power filter is creating a powerful current the paddlefish like to swim into. :D/

I'm pretty sure Gambusia can live in bottled ammonia, horse urine and diesel fuel (based on field observations) and I wouldn't use them to check water quality :)

Sorry to hear about your jumprock, and hope you get to feeling better.
