I am curious what the temperature range is that Elassoma will spawn in. Would you all mind voting in the poll above? Please only vote if your pygmy sunfish males are colored up and performing a spawning dance.

I can't click more than one button in the poll - I know I've had them spawn from 75 to 85 degrees.

I am curious to know how if anyone is pond raising the E. gilberti and if so, how they did in Florida's deep freeze last winter? I am thinking about trying them in outdoor tubs above ground here near Houston, TX. Comments welcome!

You might want to send a private message to smbass (Brian Zimmerman). I thought I saw Elassoma gilberti on his stock page a few weeks ago, and he pond raises a lot of his fish.
