Sounds like everything you want to carry could be put into a backpack. That brings me back to the bait bucket tied to a belt. Just throwing out ideas, and would hate to see you do more work than is necessary. I learned a long time ago that especially when it comes to stream sampling, it's best to keep things as simple as possible.

Yeah,I bring my float tube for fishing trips. For sampling trips I bring a daypack or neck bag with a camera and some water,a net and a bait bucket or critter keeper.
