Are any of the following Kentucky darters available to keep? The few native fish sites currently do not have them in stock. Would it be legal for members of the forum to swap for them?

Bloodfin Darter- Etheostoma sanguifluum

Blue Breast Darter- Etheostoma camurum

Orange Fin Darter- Etheostoma bellum

Red line Darter- Etheostoma rufilineatum

Yes, you can "trade" for all of them, although you need to check the status of bluebreast in your state. If it is listed, then it is illegal. No idea if they are even in PA, but they are in Ohio. Very few people are able to breed darters, so most people selling darters are selling wild caught darters under a special permit. So, since these people do not have permits for KY, they cannot sell these until they spawn them. So, you will have to collect them yourself, or give some fish to others, with hopes of getting a gift as well.
