update on my sunfish

here is a video of morning feeding, i try to feed him just blood worms and betta pellets for the others but that doesnt work to well cus he likes the pellets
he also woke up a little to early this morning and is a little grumpy today to

Aw, he's a cutie.
And at the same time it's good that you have a pond ready for him, 'cause you know he's going to grow up fast. There are some true sunfish that stay fairly small. I'm not talking only about the Elassoma (pygmy sunfish, 1 inch long); there are also a few true sunfish like the orange spotted and the blue spotted that stay 3-4 inches long. The orange spotted sunfish is probably a better choice for you in Indiana. Here is an image of its distribution: http://nas2.er.usgs.... &speciesid=383

I know I'm in love with him :) hes usually a ham with the camera but he has been mad at me
He is already growing fast with in the last month so I might even have to move him in the spring have it set up in my garage till June

I guess certain animals ppl assume it either a male or female, i noticed in fish if ppl dont know the sex they automatically assume its a male
knowing my luck it's probably a female but o well
