A big T H A N K Y O U to Fritz for a wonderful convention. I am just getting home this evening and certainly had a great time. I am sure that some of us will be posting stories and/or photos of our adventures. But first and foremost, I want to acknowledge the hard work that it takes to prepare everything for those of us that were lucky enough to attend.

I have heard fish stories, and I have one myself about an amphibian monster, and there is another one about how one of our board members "shocking behaviour" towards a guest. There were awesome views, and great meals, and fellowship and conversation throughout. It was an all around great event.

Great Job Fritz! I am actually still here, saw a bear about two hours ago in Linville gorge. Not fishy, but very cool.

Everyone made Seth feel so welcome that he is all but demanding his own membership. Thanks all.

Also Congratulations to "team Dustin" on their win in the collecting challenge. Both teams did very well on some rather tough streams. "Team Matt" lost by 5 species.

A big thanks to all who participated. Everyone worked their butts off.

Thanks also to Fritz and Gerald for confirming ID's. We could not have done it without you.

It was a fantastic experience and I also wish to thank Fritz and everyone else involved in making it such a success. I had a really great time and added a surprisingly large number of species to my lifelist considering how close I was to home. Always great to socialize with other fish heads as well. We ought to do it more often!

Thank you Fritz and everyone else involved for putting on a wonderful convention! It was great to reconnect with friends and make some new ones, and the fish were awesome as well.

Yes, thank you Fritz. This was an amazing time, even though I had to leave a day early. I nearly had my wife talked into coming back down this weekend, who's up for another trip? It was awesome to see all of you again, and meet a few new people.

I suppose I'll never live down my "shocking behavior" for the rest of my NANFA life.....

Dang it Matt! If only I was there...

Wouldn't have mattered, possibly a hinderance.

My husband was surprised, he had to admit he had a good time. I got an unrelated package in the mail yesterday and he was like, "Is it our shirts?" (from winning the collecting challenge) He's adorable :)

Oh, also, I think I put him down as a large but he tells me he's an extra large.

Thank You Fritz for another excellent adventure with lots of creeky camaraderie.
There's plenty of convention T-shirts left if anybody wants more: M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL.
Contact Casper Cox - he will mail them to you.

I will actually have those up on the website so that you can order automated and pay via paypal and all that stuff... but it might take a day or two...still sorting through hellbender video (oops, is that rubbing more salt in somebody's wounds?)

I'm really confused, some of those pictures show you and Dustin working... together... do I smell a conspiracy?

No, he was feeling bad, and wanted to show me some technique the day before. He didn't want my team to totally get spanked.

Another great convention. Thanks Fritz and newest NANFA Fellow, well deserved. Great fishing, fellowship and late night
videos. As usual we just need another 5 or 6 hours each day, hard to get time with everybody unless on the same trips. Josh Jarvis and I got home last night about 11:30. Josh got a lot of sleep on the way so he took off for NH about midnight. I made a couple attempts to stump him at his "find the missing word" game (white, yellow, trout ... left off pirate, didn't want it
too easy) but as at Sunday's dinner he had the answer in 3 seconds or less every time!

Thank you to Fritz and everyone else who put in the hard work to make the convention happen. All Greenwood and I did was show up and put a bunch of hooks in fishes' mouths. Next time I hope to be more involved! Looking forward to seeing more reports and pictures since we were away from the main groups most of the time.
