Don - congratulations on a successful trip! Did you end up using the hammock? Were you able to use it every night or did you also bring a tent? Is this a trip that you plan to do again (or a similar trip)? Thanks for sharing your adventure!

no I just used a tent. only saw 2 harmless watersnakes the whole trip, but lots of gators. didn't make it all the way to gulf , have to research how to negotiate the dams. It was a lot of fun, will finish trip to gulf sometime, and will definitely do segments again camping on primitive sites. pictures posted under general discussion.
