Martin, I don't think there are going to be any camping options real close (there is at least one spot about 5 miles away).  On the other hand, I think you are going to like the on campus housing arrangements we are making (much more affordable than hotels).

While all colleges love sports, I do not think we will have much going on in June (with most of the students gone for the summer).

The website has been updated and you can now register on-line by clicking here to go directly to the NANFACON18 page.

In addition to on line registration the page includes more information and a couple of links to a fishes of Georgia website and a free download of a Field Guide to the Fishes of the Conasauga River.

I'm also planning some give aways for the first 50 people to register, so don't wait!

Well there is a thought that the first 50 registrants might receive a gift bag. Wouldnt that make a great addition to such a bag. Hmmmm

Nice... then the system is working... I got an email notifying me of both you guys... I haven't gone in yet and registered myself even, so you two are the only two coming to Georgia so far!

Can you apply to present? Or are the presenters pre-chosen?

You are such a tease.

A good one though. As soon as the tax refund hits the ol' checking account, I'm in!

I am planning on it! I'll be looking forward to seeing you as well.

Imagine I'll be looking forward to wielding a net with a vengeance at that time, too. I'm getting carpal tunnel surgery on both my wrists sometime this spring. One surgery, heal, next surgery, heal. So net swingin' is gonna be limited here for a while. :(

Gonna have to let me know how that goes for you Matt. It may be in my future, don't know how much longer I can stand being woken up 6 times a night to wake up my hands. Good luck.

Will do, Matt. The hands going asleep is annoying, but I'm experiencing a loss of fine motor skills, that's what really got me in to finally do something about it. If your hands are giving you that much trouble you might want to look into things sooner rather than later.

Yes, fine motor skills are not so great either, and my fingers seem to have a mind of their own, mostly in the morning. Sooner is surely better, but I intend to semi retire in 5 years, I would prefer to push it off until then.

Here is the logo developed for the convention. I plan to print decals of this for the first 50 registered.

The t-shirts are being refined, they will feature a variation of this design on the front and a unique design for the back.

Dennis is doing some test prints now.

Details to come...
