Well, I tried four outings and no grass pike. I couldn't resist the markings and coloration of this warmouth, so I brought him home. I have caught so many fish this last 2 weeks....beautiful specimens of gar pike, green sunfish, bluegill, hybrids, warmouth, pumpkinseeds, and largemouth bass.

I won't give up on the grass pike though. It will happen...anyways, here is my rig for catching them, and here is my latest addition.

They do have personality, but aren't near as aggressive as oscars are. They're actually kind of peaceful. I've got 4 or 5 of them and a small 2 incher. I'm hopefully going to breed them sometime in the next year. These are my favorite fish. Not exactly colorful, but they are definately beautiful.
