Longears, Where Can You Get Them Other Than Fishing

Is there a source for longear sunfish other than catching them?

You can get them from someone's private collection. A couple years ago when I had to shut down my aquarium, I would have gladly given my longears to anyone who wanted them. Of course I orginally acquired them from the wild a couple years prior, so I dont know if that counts. Are you asking if someone is selling captive bred specimens? or are you looking for someone else to catch some for you? Posted Image

I can catch them. I just didn't know if I could buy them too. Generally when I go fishing I catch everything except what I'm after.

When I was a kid, we couldn't just send off for them. We had to pick 'em.
From the field.
In the snow.
With no shoes.
