Thinking I try to catch a pair of orangepotted sunfish if I wind up taking a business trip to Louisiana in September. How terretorial are these fish? If I only catch two and they are both male, could they live together in somethinig as small as a 20 or 30 gallon tank?

Thanks for any advice!

yes they can be kept together in a relatively small tank. They seem to be one of the least aggressive lepomis sunfishes, and do not seem to be overly territorial either. Since I have kept every lepomis species, I would say orangespots, bantams and warmouth are the three least aggressive with those first two being by far the smallest two as well.
