For so long I've been hearing those "treasure in the shrimp/feeder tank" stories of people finding rare fish in feeder tanks. I was sooooo jealous.

NOT ANY MORE!!! I found a couple bluefin killies in a tank with glowlight tetras and feeder shrimp. I almost passed out. And it was at PetSmart!!!!

So, can anyone tell me about the care, behavior, and breeding of these beautiful fish? I know they're endangered and therefore illegal to keep in GA, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity, and I'm planning on getting a license that would allow me to keep them, along with some of the other southern jewels that are protected.

Now I'm the one jealous. I'll have to keep a close eye out at Petsmart.
I bet they would eat almost anything. My banded killifish will even eat guppies.
