I'm not really a killie person, and I've never collected these before. Sorry for the bad photo, any ideas?

For shame!

Fantastic looking tank Martin. I see a problem with one of your fish though. A little spot or something. I don't think they're going to make it by the time an ID is made.

Assuming that the fish are still alive, my educated guess is that they're Fundulus notti. Or maybe F. dispar? I guess that saying starhead of some sort is easy.

wow... incredible tank. and yes, no idea how anyone could even begin iding those killifish... my first impression was that they were glass cats or jelly bean tetras or something :S

Haha, well, I've had my fun! The tank is a photo from the book "Nature Aquarium World", or what is nowadays known as an Amano-style tank.

When I first picked up this book 15 years ago I was totally blown away. Every aquarist owes it to himself to buy a copy.

What, notti? I had forgotten all about that. Yeah, I can snag some for you.

I promised Ken McKeighen some fish too, ...er, that was last year too, now that I think on it.

Lampeye looks good to me. Very good.

Amano tends to use very plain sorts of fish which disappear into the background, letting the plants have all the attention, and I've noticed that many of these fish are fairly unusual in the trade, at least here in this country. Lampeyes would be right up his alley.
