Does anyone have any info on breeding blackbanded and rainbow darters? I have a ten gallon tank and I was thinking about trying to breed one of these two species.

One is a Percina and the other is an Etheostoma, so the fish are a bit different from each other.
I suggest you collect ready-to-breed darters in the spring. Once you get good at breeding these and raising the fry, then move on to the wintering your own darters.
