Hiya!
I was talking to a buddy of mine who works at a local fish store here in montreal and, knowing how much I love sunfish said that they got some in for sale at his store. I automatically though they would be pygmies because I had heard they are often offered for sale at some pet stores. Imagine my surprise when they were actually baby longears! I was so tempted to get some from them as they looked very healthy, but i prefer going out and catching my own fish for my aquariums.

Cool find, I've yet to see any Lepomis species other than green sunfish....but hey, beggars can't be chosers, I tend to make an offer if it is in a feeder tank.
