Just wanted to *bump* this thread again.
We have to keep an eye on the weather for more rain. Here is the gauge for a spot downstream of where I plan to go:

I've actually visited that spot before but never got in. There is a ton of runoff around it so it explains the spikes.
I may go down this weekend and see what it looks like and report back, but right now it isn't looking good since I've heard rumors of more rain.

Sooooooooooo... the trip got washed out.
It will probably take a week or so for the water to drain out, barring any additional down pours.
Any interest in planning a TN drainage trip?
I do need to get down to the Rivanna at some point so I will choose a date and post to see who would be interested in tagging along.
