Just wanted to *bump* this thread again.

We have to keep an eye on the weather for more rain. Here is the gauge for a spot downstream of where I plan to go:

I've actually visited that spot before but never got in. There is a ton of runoff around it so it explains the spikes.

I may go down this weekend and see what it looks like and report back, but right now it isn't looking good since I've heard rumors of more rain.

Were you serious about snorkeling right now...that water is COLD! I was in Bull Run today with a local consultant and my hands were going numb after like 15 or so minutes.

One of the more northern rivers is above 65F right now, or was. This week has been chilly so it probably dropped down again.

Bull Run, eh? haven't been there in awhile.

Woohoo! I think we are good to go.

If you plan on attending, please send me a PM and I will give you the details.

The weather is somewhat iffy but I have a feeling it will change for the better, it usually does.

Sooooooooooo... the trip got washed out.

It will probably take a week or so for the water to drain out, barring any additional down pours.

Any interest in planning a TN drainage trip?

I do need to get down to the Rivanna at some point so I will choose a date and post to see who would be interested in tagging along.
