What's difference between Eastern and Westen gambusia in females without males. Some females has really heavily lace pattern and some females are just clearly (no dots on fins). Do I really have two species in a single tank? Because most of them come from feeder tanks from same source. I only have one male in same tank as lots of females in.

I also has another colony in another tank that are Eastern Mosquitofish that I ordered from KSI Aquatic, looks like same to some females in other tank.

I would assume that all of your fish that came in with feeder shipments came from the same place, likely Florida. This would mean that all of your fish are holbrooki most likely.

But they don't come from Florida, they come from AL (that's where my lfs ordered feeders from). So why some have lace patterns and some don't?
